  • Wooden - Yes, the sweet smell of treated lumber as a chariot-like car races over it.  Then the wicked "outta control" prescence of the double-helix.  Yes ladies and gentlemen, we do love them there "woodies".

  • Steel-Looping - There's nothing quite like a good ole' fashion head beating as these steel giants roar through inversions and steep, banked turns.  You won't have a head-ache in your life that is comparable to the one these things will give you.

  • Hyper - Wow!  Tall, Fast, Steep!  What more could you ask for?  Maybe some courage to get on one of these monsters.   Boasting the top heights, speeds, and angles of descent, hyper-coasters have really found their way into the hear of coaster all enthusiasts.

  • Suspended - Oh, the swinging and the swinging and the...did we mention the swinging?  These coasters are notorious for their "outta control" feeling as they weave in and out of scenery, buildings, and other coasters.  They go really fast too!

  • Inverted - What ever happened to the traditional ski lifts that you would find on that snowy mountain.  Now we have these crazy ones where you are flipped and spinned every which way at incredible speeds, with nothing between your feet and the ground.  It might not be a good idea to wear those sandals!

  • Stand-Up - Now here's the true definition of weak knees if we've ever found one.  These thrillrides are so amazing because you ride them on your feet, with nothing to support you except for a very uncomfortable bicycle seat.   They twist you in every direction, like you never thought was possible.

  • Misc. - Reverse Free-Fall, Laydown, and Floorless coasters are all becoming very popular in the world of amusement parks!  Let's see how many different ways they can position your body as you ride!
